I provide advice and support for teaching and parenting neurodivergent children in the form of a consultation. It can be overwhelming and confusing navigating the world of neurodivergency and special educational needs. My combination of personal and professional experience enables me to help you understand your child’s ADHD/autism/dyslexia/learning differences and accept how they learn and communicate. As a result we can work together with your child to determine the most appropriate adjustments and accommodations they may need in school, at home, at sports and clubs and generally out and about.
During a consultation, parents describe their child’s strengths, challenges and specific areas of academic and/or behavioral concerns and I offer practical explanations, advice, solutions and suggestions. Following the consultation, I can provide a written report or plan that highlights the next steps.
I also consult with schools (teachers, inclusion leads, learning support assistants) to provide targeted recommendations about particular pupils as well as general advice and support.
