ABOUT JENNY
I have been exclusively home educating, tutoring and consulting since 2010. Prior to this, I taught in state, independent and international schools.
I use a personalised, child-centred approach to teach primary school pupils with special educational needs (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, SPD) who are struggling to keep up in a mainstream school environment.
I coach secondary school pupils with Executive Functioning challenges and help them organise their homework, discover the best ways to revise that works for them as individuals and support them to reach their academic and personal goals.
I consult with parents and schools to share my professional knowledge and personal experience of autism, ADHD and dyslexia and explore how it is affecting their children/pupils and what can be done to accommodate and advocate for the needs of all parties.
Child agency and pupil voice is important to me and I believe that behaviour is an expression of communication and it is my role to “listen out” for the message in whichever form it is expressed.
British by birth, I grew up in California and now live in North West London with my husband and children.
